Statue to one of the oldest Czech patron saints more familiarly known as King Wenceslas l. Installed in 1912, 6 years before the founding of the first Republic. The staute and the square in which it stands became a focus for Czech partiotism, particularly during the brutal Soviet occupation in 1969.
