A chilly early October morning on the Forth river. The day before had been warm and the clearing skies during the night made it likely I might get a mist rising from the river in the early morning. It was high tide and the river water was completely motionless and in the windless air I got perfect reflections.
As the sun rose the earlier colours faded, but the low slanting sun suddenly started hitting the far bank, lighting up the mist and trees and the hills beyond.
