This little church nestles in the valley running up from Luthrie to Creich. It's a favourite location of mine. The late sun had just emerged from the low threatening clouds which had hung around all day. Baling had just begun but I thought I'd better take a shot at this early stage just in case and catch the dramatic evening light. I liked the way the foreground tree was almost backlit and how the cross-lighting made the unbaled straw lines stand out. I will come back and try again once the baling is done.
